The Crofts Family hails from Idaho. As a family, they’ve been writing and producing music for over 20 years. For the most part their music blends vocal harmonies and features acoustic instruments and piano. One of the two Crofts Family Christmas tunes I’m featuring tonight has more of a 40’s sound (or perhaps a Madeleine Peyroux vibe) – it’s titled Merry Christmas, Marry Me.
The second is the title track from their Christmas record from 2014, Sparrow In The Birch (great tune). It’s a song they performed as a family over two decades ago. They re-recorded it for last years Christmas release.
